A key Trump ally has come under fire for saying he hopes that Barack Obama dies next year.
Carl Paladino, who served as New York co-chairman for President-elect Donald Trump’s campaign, let loose an intemperate tirade when interviewed by Artvoice, a New York arts publication.
Asked what he most wished for 2017 he replied: “Obama catches mad cow disease after being caught having relations with a Herford.(sic) He dies before trial and is buried in a cow pasture next to (senior White House adviser) Valerie Jarrett, who died weeks prior, after being convicted of sedition and treason, when a Jihady cell mate mistook her being a nice person and decapitated her."Mr Paladino then launched into a tirade about the outgoing First Lady.
“Michelle Obama. I’d like her to return to being a male and let loose in the outback of Zimbabwe where she lives comfortable in a cave with Maxie, the gorilla.”
Mr Paladino, a property developer confirmed he had made the remarks in an interview with the Buffalo News, though he said his comments were meant as "old style humour"
He described Mr Obama as the worse president in US history, accusing him of "putting criminals back on the street", the Hill reported. Mr Paladino was swiftly disowned by the Trump transition team, which described his comments as "absolutely reprehensibl
