Bookies offer odds on Alan Pardew bust-up as Crystal Palace boss returns to headbutt scene at Hull
Saturday's match between Hull City and Crystal Palace brings Alan Pardew back to the scene of the most infamous moments of his career.
The Eagles manager was in charge of Newcastle in March 2014 when he butted City midfielder David Meyler during a bust-up on the touchline.
Pardew was fined £100,000 by his club and later given a seven-match ban by the FA for his actions.
Pardew will take his place in the KCOM Stadium dug-out for the first time since that explosive incident and Ladbrokes are offering 10/1 on him being involved in another episode and being sent to the stands.
Meyler remained relatively calm at the time and has said he has no ill feeling towards Pardew.
The Ireland midfielder is 4/1 with Paddy Power to get some revenge by scoring at any time and 20/1 with Bet365 to score first.
Palace are favourites to win the game, with the best price available being Paddy Power's 11/8. City are as long as 5/2 with BetFred to take all three points.
The draw is 12/5 with BetVictor.
City are short of attacking options and, of the Tigers players, Adama Diomande is the shortest priced player in the first goalscorer market. He's 8/1 with William Hill to score first.
City's top-scorer Robert Snodgrass is 9/1 with Bet365 to score first.
Former City loan player Fraizer Campbell is likely to start on the bench for Palace. He can be backed at 7/1 with SkyBet to be last goalscorer.
