Mauricio Pochettino’s side eased to a 3-0 win against Premier League strugglers Hull City in north London on Wednesday night thanks to goals from Christian Eriksen and Victor Wanyama.
The Denmark international has started to find some form in recent weeks after the attacking midfielder scored five times and made two assists in his last five appearances in all competitions.
Kane has once again proven to be Tottenham’s key player in the 2016-17 season after the England striker’s return of seven goals in 11 Premier League appearances this term.
Former Manchester United defender Neville believes Spurs need greater consistency from players such as Eriksen if Tottenham are going to finish in the top four this term.
Spurs need the likes of Lamela, Eriksen, Son and Alli to start providing more for the team. Those final passes in those little holes their playing in to give Kane some help,” Neville told Match of the Day on Wednesday night.
Tottenham are in fifth place in the Premier League table and three points behind fourth-placed Manchester City in the race to secure a place in next season’s Champions League
