Player Ratings: West Bromwich Albion 0 Manchester United 2- United cruise at the Hawthorns

Manchester United have continued their pursuit on the top four with a comfortable 2-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion away from home.
The visitors opened the scoring after just five minutes through Zlatan Ibrahimovic after a fabulous first time cross from Jesse Lingard.
Ibrahimovic double United’s just 10 minutes after the interval, after his shot from the edge of box took a deflection to wrong foot Ben Foster.
Here is how the players rated during United’s comfortable victory:
West Bromwich Albion
Ben Foster- 6: Was left stranded for both goals from the visitors, his best moment coming in the first half as he denied Rooney onto the crossbar.
Craig Dawson- 6: Engaged in a running battle with Ibrahimovic for much of the match, and provided a strong outlet going forward.
Gareth McAuley- 6: Solid defensively throughout the match, a no fuss performance from the veteran.
Jonas Olsson- 6: Not bad, not great from the Swede. Passed the ball out way from the back.
Allan Nyom- 6.5: Pushed forward at every possible occasion, and was solid defensively up against Lingard and Valencia.
Claudio Yacob- 6: Broke up the play for the home side, providing a necessary physical presence in the middle.
Darren Fletcher- 7: A calm and composed figure at the heart of the Baggies’ midfield against his former employers.
Chris Brunt- 6: Provided a lot of energy for his side but lacked the necessary final quality.
Nacer Chadli- 5.5: A very limited impact from the Spurs man, who rarely found time and space on the ball.
Matt Phillips- 6.5: Looked dangerous with the ball at his feet, appearing to be a constant threat in the wide areas.
Salomon Rondon- 5: Starved of service but ensured Jones and Rojo were kept busy throughout.
Substitutes
James Morrison- 6: A solid impact after coming off the bench.
Hal Robson-Kanu- N/A: Not enough time to make an impact.
Jonathan Leko- N/A: Brought on late in the game.
Manchester United
David De Gea- 6: A relatively quiet for De Gea, but was on alert when required.
Antonio Valencia- 6: Pushed forward as per usual, lacked the final quality in his crossing however.
Phil Jones- 6.5: Another solid performance from Jones, dealing well with the threat of Rondon.
Marcos Rojo- 6.5: Improving with every match he plays, engaged himself well up against the physical Rondon.
Matteo Darmian- 6: A much more assured performance on the left hand side of defence compared to recent weeks.
Michael Carrick- 6.5: Provided another calming influence for the visitors, proving a vital asset for Jose Mourinho.
Ander Herrera- 5.5: Kept things simple as he provided his usual energy in midfield.
Jesse Lingard- 7: Provided great off the ball movement to open up numerous United attacks, provided a great ball for the game’s opener.
Paul Pogba- 6: Passed the ball well but failed to find much space to break the game open.
Wayne Rooney- 6: The captain had a limited impact going forward but played a key role tracking back.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic- 7: A man at the centre of everything getting his brace, but could have seen red for a first half challenge on Dawson.
Substitutes

Marouane Fellaini- N/A: Not enough time to make an impact.
