The SFA will this afternoon unveil the man charged with dragging Scottish football from the depths of despair.
Our national association have appointed Malky Mackay as their new performance director, a role that must improve our game from grassroots up.
But this media conference will not simply be a case of a man setting out his vision.
Instead Mackay faces a grilling after sending racist texts while Cardiff City manager, acts he said were an aberration for which he has profusely apologised.
However, new allegations have now surfaced, with the 44-year-old at the centre of a £10million claim for damages by the Welsh club.
With SFA chief executive Stewart Regan also speaking, it promises to be a feisty affair.
We’re covering it here LIVE.

Well that was eventful.
Malky Mackay certainly spoke well about what he will bring to the table as Scotland’s new performance director.
He dealt with questions about the text scandal during his time with Cardiff very well, and spoke candidly about his road to redemption.
Talk is cheap however, and Mackay will be judged on how he performs in his new role at the SFA.
Thanks for joining us.
The press conference has ended – now for the analysis.
Mackay came across assured and, understandably on his part, keen to put the scandal from three years ago behind him.
There were a number of good questions put to him.
On the job itself, he was asked: if you’re the man supposed to come up with a strategy, why have you already been spoonfed the strategy?
He promised to change what he has already been handed if needed. But he says he likes the plan – that Project Brave will work.
One of the best questions was put to Stewart Regan, though. This is the man, remember who sacked the disgraced Hugh Dallas for inappropriate behaviour and has now hired someone also guilty of this.
