Colabello had been on the open market since earlier this month when he elected free agency over the Jays' outright assignment.
The 33-year-old had a strong first season with the Jays in 2015, hitting .321 with 15 home runs and 54 RBIs in 101 games; but was suspended 80 games for a positive steroid test last year and finished with just one RBI and an .069 batting average in 10 games.
