West Ham want to take Man United’s Antony Martial or Marcus Rashford on January loan

Rashford and Martial on the Man United margins

With such a massive squad to choose from, it’s only natural and inevitable that some big players are going to be left unhappy due to a lack of game time at Manchester United.
Indeed, the squad is so big that Jose Mourinho decided he didn’t even need the services of a World Cup winner, and told Bastian Schweinsteiger to find a new club.

Two other players who have found themselves surplus to requirements are Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford. The pair played starring roles for United last season, and looked set to consolidate their starting places this season.
But the opposite has been the case: with Jose Mourinho preferring Zlatan up front and the likes of Lingard and Mata on the wings, Martial and Rashford have been consigned to the bench.

West Ham want one of them on loan

According to the Telegraph, West Ham want to take one of the Manchester United subs on loan this January.
Having already been rebuked by Chelsea in their inquiry for Michy Batshuayi, they’ve now turned their attention to this United pair.
Of the two, you would think West Ham have a better chance of getting Rashford, as he’s that bit younger and seems to be lower down the pecking order than Martial.
