'Bullied' 14-year-old shot by police after brandishing a knife suffers 'major stroke' in hospital as he recovers from gunshot wound to the chest
A 14-year-old who was shot by a police officer after he brandished a knife at his high school has suffered a 'major stroke' in the hospital, his lawyer said.
Logan Clark underwent emergency surgery at the Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada and was taken to the intensive care unit on Friday. His condition is unknown.
The boy threatened other students at the Procter R. Hug High School and refused to drop the weapon on Wednesday before a school district police officer shot him in the chest, authorities said.
The teenager was identified by his father Justin Clark, who wrote on Facebook that his son was bullied and brought the knives to school 'because he was gonna be jumped'.
