Michael Owen states his prediction for Sunderland v Liverpool

Michael Owen is backing Liverpool to keep up the pressure on leaders Chelsea by beating Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Monday afternoon.

The Reds head into the game looking to continue their recent good form and fresh from their 1-0 victory over Manchester City at the Stadium of Light on Saturday night.
Liverpool are currently in second place in the Premier League table and six points behind leaders Chelsea as they look to close the gap on the west London side.
And former Reds striker Owen is fully expecting to see Jurgen Klopp’s men claim all three points at the Stadium of Light on Monday afternoon.
Writing in his column for BetVictor, Owen said: “David Moyes will not want Liverpool to hit his Sunderland side on the break, but that is easier said than done such is the flair, pace and creativity in this current Reds side. I expect the Reds to take the points.”
