Premier League transfer target Manolo Gabbiadini is leaving his current club Napoli this month – his agent has confirmed.
His agent Silvio Pagliari is quoted by Sky Sports as stating:
"The decision is made, Manolo is leaving. We'll have it arranged at the end of next week.Premier League or Bundesliga? He'll definitely join one out of those two leagues.
"He is very suitable for both, since being a technical as well as a powerful player. But, before all is done, you won't hear me saying where he could go."
West Brom and Southampton have been linked with his signature recently. The same report says that both Premier League teams are interested in signing the player – who would be available for a fee in the region of £20 million. Bundesliga outfit VfL Wolfsburg are also keen, but want a loan deal, something Napoli are not willing to consider.
Everton are also known to be interested in the player. The Liverpool Echo recently reported that Ronald Koeman remains a fan, but is apprehensive over a move after the struggle they had trying to negotiate a deal for the player in the summer. The 25-year-old forward is an Italian international and joined Napoli from Sampdoria back in January 2015.
He has however had to struggle for first-team football at the Stadio San Paulo and Southampton, Everton and West Brom will no doubt be alerted by these recent developments.
